That certain parts of me were desirable and “good for business”...while others would have to be kept hidden.
My contradictions have made me, on many occasions, question whether or not I belonged in this industry.
I was too spiritual and deep feeling for the loud ones.
Too bold and flashy for the cozy ones.
When I stopped trying to HIDE, contorting my image & expression to fit the mold of what some said “leadership” looked like
When I stopped trying to replicate my brand to follow industry trends, forcing myself to the extreme poles of down-home relatability or untouchable aspiration
When I flipped the bird to traditional stories of how to grow an impactful brand…
